Not so easy to find and even easier to get lost on access from the A143 to Brockdish. Turn down opposite All Saint’s Church on the top of the hill. Follow the narrow path to the bottom and bear left. Parking is poor here. The river is fifty yards across the fields and it’s mainly shallow with a few deep areas, so plumbing up is very important. This can be a good area for chub and roach in among the trees. Cattle needs particular attention and please shut the gate after you.
