This site features two disabled access swims. From Hoxne continue along the B1118 until the road bears sharp right with a road the goes straight on. Take the road that goes straight for two to three miles on until you see the fine stately building on your left by the conker trees. Parking is on the road side. There are two ways in. For upstream and to the disabled swims, head to the left of the Hall until you come to the river. In the wetter weather wellies are needed to cross the dykes. For the down stream pegs enter farm gate by foot and turn right and keep walking until you enter the fir tree path. At the bottom of the path you will come into a field and the river is 30yards away between the trees. This is one of our most beautiful and picturesque spot and it is the goodness of Colonel Leader that’s gives us this wonderfully facility free of charge. The right pegs here can throw up some good chub and some good bags of roach can be had too. The club stocked £1000 of bream here back in 1999.
