Scole Bridge to Billingford Weir
Turn left of the A140 onto the B1118 towards Hoxne and after a few miles you will come to a river bridge, parking is fifty yards further along on the right. Walk back and cross the bridge for DOWNSTREAM FISHING ONLY.
The deepest area is the first bend. The rest has narrow parts that can make 4 to 5 foot but 3 foot deep and weed is more typical. Early season a lot of medium sized roach can be seen and small dace. Fishing is all the way down to the large dyke. A small happy little river.
