Where To Fish
From Oakley continue along the B1118, up and into Hoxne. You go round the sharp bend, past the church on your left hand side. After about 100 yards, turn left down a single track road, then down an unmade track at the left hand side of the concrete pad at the top of the hill. There is a small area for parking at the bottom of the hill.
From the car park, continue straight down the track from the car park and cross the stone bridge, we have the mill stream stretch, upstream of the bridge to the weir and down stream from the bridge to the first fence. Then from the weir, we have down stream for around half a mile into the woods and the buildings opposite. This area is shallow and chub and dace can be caught.
