Scole Bridge to Billingford Weir
This Stretch lost all its oxygen in the autumn of 1997 and depleted the stretch of all its fish life. We have had extensive remedies from the Environment Agency and FISH NOW THRIVE in the swallows and this delightful narrow stretch is worth fishing again. A good 1999 spawning took place and some fish introduced. Weedy but worth a walk first to suss it out.
