Match Rules (Freshwater)

Members wishing to fish Diss Mere matches must contact the Match Secretary to enter their names upon the list not later than three days before the match.

 

The minimum number to constitute a match shall be three

 

It is the responsibility of any contestant desiring a specimen fish to be weighed to ensure that it is entered on the weight card and witnessed by two anglers.

 

All cups and trophies to be returned to the Match Secretary in a clean state by the end of March.

 

A match can only be run by an appointed Committee Member or Officer of the club without the permission of the Committee.

 

In all club matches, anglers must have two carp friendly keep nets, where weights in the excess of 50lb are likely to be caught. Immediate disqualification at the weigh-in will apply for any unreasonable variation.
