No member, other than those in the two-rod holding capacity, shall be permitted to fish upon any occasion whatsoever less than six hours before the start of a match at any venue published in the club card, and dual holders shall vacate the swim one hour before the start of any match. A fine of £5 may be imposed for this offence by the Committee and all members are urged to regularly read and examine their club cards.
PEANUTS and TIGER NUTS are not to be used on any club water whatsoever as bait or pre-baiting.
Members are encouraged not to cast in the vicinity of the fountain! You could damage the cables and you will lose your tackle if you get hooked up on it.
There shall be a facility to fish with two rods in the Diss Mere. These can be obtained from P.M Peggs angling supplies with an additional payment of £6.
Bait boats
Members holding a double rod licence with five years full membership standing shall be permitted to use a bait boat between 1st November and 1st March. Application for permission shall be made to the Secretary in writing between 10th and 14th October in each year. The secretary at their discretion shall issue permits and keep a register, in conjunction with the Carp Administrator, regarding those deemed eligible and suitable.
