Match Rules (Freshwater)

The draw for matches shall commence sixty minutes before the start of any match (unless otherwise specified) and be concluded within ten minutes. Pools of £3.50 and a club fee of £1.50 shall have been paid to the match organiser prior to the draw along with any outing or pegging fee required. Please note on outing where a peg fee is due the club match fee will reduce to £0.50.

 

The duration of the matches shall be:

Sundays:  5hrs (unless an outing which shall be six hours)

Saturdays: 5hrs 30mins

Tuesdays: 5hrs

In the event of inclement conditions and a consensus of majority decision the Organiser may conclude the match not more than two hours early.

 

Sunday matches shall be Drawn pegs upon which a member may only fish, but Saturday and Tuesdays shall be by choice. The Angler drawing 1 having the first choice for his permanent position for the match at the established peg.  

 

Match times:

SUNDAYS  1st June to 1st September   7.30am.

TUESDAYS 1st June to 1st September   2pm

SATURDAYS 1ST June to 1st September   1.30pm

SUNDAYS  2nd September to 31st March   10.00am

TUESDAYS 2nd September to 31st March   10.00am

SATURDAYS 2nd September to 31st March    10.00am

Members may have a peg drawn for them in the event of their anticipated late arrival providing the polls and match fee are paid for them and it is accepted they are non-returnable.

 

Each competitor shall be duty bound to make themselves aware of the NFA rules of competition.
